Our TETRA experts at HMF Smart Solutions have incorporated more than 40 years of PMR experience into its development.  ACCESSNET®-T IP meets all the requirements of professional users and offers a wide range of services for all areas of application. The TETRA radio system is engineered in Germany – at the HMF development site in Bad Münder (Germany).

We have developed ACCESSNET®-T IP in accordance with the specifications of the European Telecommunication Standards Institute (ETSI) and offer the advantages and proven functions of the internationally recognised TETRA standard (Terrestrial Trunked Radio). Secure voice and data transmission as well as a wide range of performance features ensure that our TETRA radio system can be adapted to the requirements of PMR users in all fields of application.

ACCESSNET®-T IP features high availability as well as robustness against external influences (such as extreme climate, vandalism, cyberattacks, data manipulation or natural disasters). It is exactly the right choice for absolutely reliable radio communication – especially in mission- and business-critical applications.

To protect your communication against unpredictable events and external influences, there are a variety of options to safeguard service availability. A basic mechanism is the distribution of intelligence in the network, using HMF’s intelligent distributed switching function.

In the case of centralised switching, geographical redundancy is particularly useful to further increase availability. ACCESSNET®-T IP allows the unique combination of both switching architectures to achieve maximum availability. Last but not least, thanks to the high-performance isolated operation, even a backbone failure has no effect on the availability of individual radio cells.
